Goop Kitchen San Diego Location Review
I finally stopped by the new goop Kitchen at One Paseo in San Diego, which officially opened on August 31. This is the first full-service, dine-in goop Kitchen, and I was excited to try it for myself. (One Paseo)
The atmosphere is exactly what I expected from goop: bright, clean, modern and elevated, but still relaxed enough for a casual lunch. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and the whole space has that fresh Southern California feel.
The staff was very friendly, and the location was very clean despite the restaurant being very crowded.
The menu is centered around healthy, made-to-order food, with salads, bowls, pizzas, pastas and other everyday favorites. I especially love that the food is made without seed oils, refined sugars or processed additives. (One Paseo)
For lunch, I ordered a salad with salmon and added half an avocado, and it was delicious. Everything tasted fresh; the salmon was really good, and the avocado made it even more filling.
I also tried the hibiscus and petal sparkling water in a can, which was light and refreshing and paired perfectly with my salad.
For everything, I paid around $30. It’s definitely not the cheapest lunch, but I really enjoyed my meal and loved the quality of the ingredients.
My first impression? Fresh, healthy, delicious and a beautiful spot for lunch in San Diego. I’ll definitely be back.
